ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: FOR BETTER ENERGY MANAGEMENT

ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: FOR BETTER ENERGY MANAGEMENT As a property owner, your goal is to offer your tenants an energy-optimised building so that they have a clear picture of their expenses. If you are an occupier company, your goal is to optimise your expenses while also offering a comfortable workplace that boosts employee engagement.

In addition to the audit of your building, which allows us to identify areas for improvement and any work needed, we also give you access to the global energy market to reduce your costs and limit your commitment constraints. Access to these markets may result in savings for our clients.
The energy data is analyzed and monitored through on-site interventions, which are necessary for measuring energy performance and occupant comfort. Additionally, it is monitored remotely and in real time to assess the condition and consumption of the systems.

Thanks to our expertise in building systems and new technologies, we can help you educate your users with a view to changing practices over the long term. An important effort that requires everyone’s involvement!
Having a Green Manager or a Hospitality Manager within your real estate asset can also strengthen this process and win the support of your teams.

ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION: TAKING RESPONSIBILITY TO BOOST ASSET ATTRACTIVITY

Environmental certification - a sign of security, responsibility and quality - is also synonymous with savings on energy bills for occupier companies.
We work with investors to analyse the possibility of environmental certification of their real estate asset. We then conduct a pre-certification audit and, based on the findings, we propose a selection of eligible certification label, and can provide you with an action plan that includes service provider management, change management involving occupiers and the works needed to ensure that the asset can be certified.
Backed by our 16 years of experience and support, we have extensive knowledge of the main certification systems used in the real estate industry at the European level (BREEAM) and at the local level (DGNB, HQE, NABERS, etc.)

AND HOW TO MANAGE THE NATIONAL LOW-CARBON STRATEGY AFTER THE ENERGY AUDIT IS CONDUCTED?

The rise in temperatures due to human activity is the cause of global warming and biodiversity erosion. Buildings, identified as major contributors to carbon emissions, have begun their shift towards carbon neutrality by 2050. This goal has been incorporated into regulatory texts in several European countries in order to support this process, but also to set intermediate decarbonisation levels by 2050. Many companies have also decided to anticipate this goal and have set more ambitious targets in terms of deadlines. In addition, the decarbonisation trajectories proposed by the CRREM have become essential modelling tools that enable decision-makers to measure the impact of their CAPEX in order to prevent their assets from being stranded.

To guide companies in the real estate sector, the European Union decided to fund the CRREM (Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor) project, a tool that helps users get on a pathway compatible with Europe’s climate ambitions. This is the tool that our teams use to help you set the carbon trajectory of the site:

  • Reviewing their GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions
  • Providing scenarios to limit global warming by 1.5°C or even 2°C.
  • The Environmental Performance teams will identify quantified action plans to move your assets towards zero carbon by 2050.
