Whatever your objectives in terms of decarbonisation, or simply to ensure compliance with applicable regulations in your country, controlling energy and consumption in buildings is crucial in fighting against global warming and climate change.

The ESG expert plays an active role in our management team, advising owners, tenants and our management team on best practices to adopt in terms of energy efficiency, and providing advice on adjustments that can be made to technical facilities.

The ESG expert can also recommend the implementation of an energy audit, or an energy trading mission to take advantage of energy markets.

ASSURANCE OF IMPLEMENTATION OF YOUR ESG STRATEGY

Most of the assets that we manage today have an ESG roadmap, due to the strategy of the funds to which they belong (SRI certification, SFDR 8, 9 , etc…) or the strategy specific to the investor/asset manager and their own environmental objectives policy (GRESB, carbon neutrality pledge, compliance with the Paris agreements, CREEM, etc.).

The ESG expert is responsible for coordinating and reporting on the implementation of the ESG action plans related to each asset. Working closely with the entire management team to ensure a pragmatic and effective application of your ESG roadmaps for each building.

As a new requirement of extra-financial reporting, understanding ESG data has become a key issue for all players in the real estate value chain.

Our ESG experts are experienced both in understanding ESG data and in using ESG data centralisation platforms (platforms such as the one developed by BNP Paribas Real Estate Property Management (REPM) in partnership with DEEPKI, or MEASURABLE, BUILDING MINDS, and other platforms). They provide valuable support to our property management teams to ensure that all the data needed to measure your ESG strategies is correctly integrated into these platforms and in a qualitative manner.
